Publication Design
Research For the ISTD 2026 ‘Trade Matters’ brief, I chose to develop a publication that focuses on the High Street.
This work recieved a Merit from the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD).
Informed by stories from older generations and personal experience, the work focuses on The High Street, and more specifically, the towns / cities of Kilwinning, Dundee and Glasgow.
It documents a selection of businesses that once, and in some cases still, occupy these streets, combining historical overviews with lived experience to reconsider the role and future of the High Street.
